I bought these speakers over 35 years ago when my ears were good and my budget was bad.i have since been able to afford b&w matrix speakers and quad esls. These speakers are a tad light on bass but its well defined with a sweet treble. Surprisingly good on stands in a large room and reasonably neutral. Amplifiers make a huge difference-so im using a 1970s revox A50 and they sound excellent.I’ve compared them to beovox s45/2and prefer their neutrality and honest reproduction.
Ive also used a musical fidelity a50 and mission cyrus and the revox amp goes best.
