"Sound great!"

I traded these for an old Dual turntable and didn't have any special expectations. I have a pair of old Tannoy Mercury S and love them, but these E11 sounds almost as good, and even perform a little better in the low end.

Picked up a pair of these in a pawn shop for £25, what a bargain. Great sounding speakers that easily keep up with a lot of modern units costing around £200. They have a very rich low end so can run without a sub for music... for true LFE you'd still need a sub as these only drop down to 55 Hz. However it should be noted that some of these will be 25 years old now and might have had a hard life so listen before you buy.

"bargain"

Inherited these from my dad when he upgraded to Kef floorstanders.
Excellent sound suitable for smallish space - run them with or without a subwoofer.
If you see them on Ebay they should be less than £50 and way better than most stuff you would pick up new for £200

"Great Buy"

Picked these up at a boot sale for £5.. one of the tweeter dust cap is indented tried the usual methods to remove it but no success. However only cosmetic as the sound from these is first class.. using a Pioneer A 400 amp. Certainly out class my Monitor Audio ' Monitor Ones'
A total bargain the clarity of the bass and trebles is superb.
