This late Sony amp got soundwise nothing to do with other A series, although some guys
comparing it to 505Es or 3ES, then the Buffer circuit is much more different, to name only one. If you are going to listen at low volume with such clarity, depth, present mid range and low bass warmth, so go for it. This is not only an amp, but a total musical device.

I have this in black - can't fault it for power, control & clarity - might be a bit warm for vinyl, though. Am thinking of upgrading but need to be convinced that I can justify shelling out more cash for a small improvement.
