No-frills Pro-Logic decoder with integral amps for centre and rear speakers (centre being optional). Various modes, along with settable rear delay for Haas Effect.
Reliable, along with totally transparent sound (notwithstanding the Dolby band-limiting on rear channel).
Even in the age of 5.1 and more, I don't feel hard-done-by listening to movies through this. So long as the stereo source material is in a properly-matrixed Lt-Rt format, it's just great! (Stereo audio from laptop minijack, with Netflix or Amazon Prime Video as the source nowadays, resolves perfectly.)
My only gripe is that it's not possible to set rear level on the remote control independently from main volume.
