"Amazing!"
|
I used to own some bookshelf speakers back in 2011 100w peak before moving to PC speakers and recently found these in a warehouse sitting there so I brought them restored the looks a bit and wow the quality of these bad boys are amazing! Lets just say these are my only speakers now and that all the lows, mids and highs are ridiculously crisp clear and very shocking for such old speakers!

"Hearing is believing. Absolutely fantastic speakers!"
|
I currently own a large open planned home with a pool area and roof terrace, and I'm looking to use my existing audio system to distribute sound throughout my home and to the outside areas. I came across a pair of these speakers in a pawnbrokers, being familiar with the Wharfedale name and having seen these speakers used in their dozens by hundreds of pubs/bars and small nightclubs across the country, I decided to give them a try. To say the least these produce a sound like nothing I've heard from a pair of bookshelf speakers ever before in my life. When Wharfedale claimed these speakers produce extended bass with impressive treble from such a small speaker system that will also handle a full 100 watts of power over long demanding listening periods with not the faintest hint of fatigue, they weren't kidding! Once purchased, its easy to realize why these small powerhouse speakers are so popular not only in commercial installations, but peoples homes too. After auditioning a couple of similar sized (albeit more expensive) speakers from other reputable brands, these are clearly my favourite and the ones I've decided to distribute throughout my home for audio...very pleased with Wharfedale for creating these speakers. At the price, you'd be forgiven for thinking it was a deal too good to be true, but hearing is believing!
Regards - Karl.
