A good deck made by Technics.

It has nothing to do with the tank build premium decks of the 80s and there is no need for that actually. The technology of the electronics in the late 90s had much improved since then.
The use of simple mechanisms brought down the cost and made good decks affordable to the people.

The playback head is an evolution of the early 90s DCC heads.

The great ATC system allows you to take out the best performance of every type of cassette.

Normal tapes like the TDK D and the Denon DX1 are very good recorded by this deck.

Caution! Do NOT to use any demagnetization system on its heads!

Respect it and it will serve you for many years.

A Technics deck made for superb & professional recordings.

The combination of 3 heads design, auto tape calibration & the monitoring feature will allow the pro user to achieve an impressive high quality recordings with higher outputs up to 40% than usually possible, especially if 2 Equalizers are added to the settings, using the correct sound parameters.

Dolby B-C noise reduction & the HX Pro features will Enhance quality & match the tape to the digital or other high quality sources.

MPX Filter is for eliminating distortions of the Pilot signal of 19Khz. (more details on the web).

A volume controlled headphone jack allow the user to monitor the playback or recording sessions at a safe sound levels.

A true professional model worth having.
