I had one of these as well and added it to my old Sanyo rack system in 1985 and it was a fantastic addition, a rock-solid EQ that totally enhanced what before was a merely ok rack system. Built like a tank with a real metal case and durable and sensitive (but not delicately-made) front controls and switches, and a clear color LED display, this TEAC was an indispensable accessory and I was glad I bought it the first day I bought it. It was also slim-line design and fit right in on the lowest rack of my rack system's cabinet, no sweat. I wish I still owned it today. It might not have been audiophile-level but for its time and price point, TEAC made a fantastic EQ and a solid and well-performing piece of equipment. It also never sounded harsh, strident, or made the music sound distorted!
