I had a pair of these in the early 1990s at the end of a system comprising a Linn LP12 motor unit, Linn Ittok tonearm, Linn Asaka mc cartridge, Michell Iso mc phono stage, and Pioneer A400 amplifier.
I have not heard a pair of speakers with speed and slam in the bass as these can reproduce to this date. I never knew that loudpeakers could reproduce a kick drum with such speed and slam as a live drum kit until I heard these(!) Whoever designed these has given a master class in bass driver loading vs cabinet box. Turn up the volume and the owner will know what I mean.
They pass the high-fidelity test with ease in that they can reproduce sounds that make you believe that live instruments and vocalists are in the room with you.
The rest of the frequency range is very good as well, and these boxes are capable of good stereo imaging, outside as well as inbetween the speaker cabinets, just sounding a little shut in the treble region.
Keep them clear of side and back walls, and they will serve you well.
