"Mid price deck with plenty of features"
|
This is an excellent cassette deck. I paid £180.00 back in 1992 and it's still going strong.
It has some great features which include a motorized open/close cassette door, a back light which makes it very easy to see the tape (much better than the vivid orange sticker on some cheaper players) and the level meters are of the bright dot matrix type not the usual string of green, amber and red LEDs.
Other features include Dolby B and C noise reduction, HX-Pro, Bias adjustment, MPX filter and an infra-red port which gives you the ability to operate it with a Sony Hi-Fi remote. Recording and playback quality is exceptional and it delivers a full, warm, clear sound from most decent recordings. If you're looking for a used cassette deck this one will be well worth tracking down.
