4 out of 5 "Great sound and look, but failing after many years"
I bought this amplifier in 2010 as used and had it checked and cleaned by a professional shop (they replaced the power switch). I coupled it with a pair of restored 75 watt ESB speakers that I have had since 1980. The amplifier has a warm and powerful sound with good dynamic range and I love the VU meters and neat design of the front panel. However, in 2014 the left channel started to become weaker. I'm considering replacing the Sony TA-11 with another fully restored vintage amplifier of the same period and with VU meters.
