I got my Sony CDP-212 in 1998 from my brother, I believe he bought it in 1993. It has worked flawlessly since then. No repairs, just great reliable Sony quality. Simple and easy to use, you can download the instruction manual from the Sony website for free. As single play CD players go this one is a keeper. Excellent sound reproduction and performance. I would never sell my CDP-212.

Good all round CD player, with great functionality and reliable features. Smooth operation, lovely output and easy-to-understand controls and functions. Long-lasting working order, have had mine since the early 2000s (believe it comes from the mid or late 90s...) and it works as new.
