4 out of 5 "Sansui BA 2000 Power Amplifier"
I bought this amp new in 1978 overseas in the Philippine Islands and have used it regularly until 1995 when I upgraded to a 200 watt amp. First off, I have never had a mechanical or electrical problem with this gear. It has run flawlessly for nearly 20 years under often punishing volume levels of rock music. I upgraded but not because of a lack of power. This unit will give you plenty of volume into most any 8 ohm speakers. (I have had many different pairs running off this unit including Bose 901 III's and Amrita Heartlands to name a couple). The unit provides for a very impressive low end, flat mid's, with clear and succinct upper range. I have zero complaints and all the praise for this amp. It now resides in a different room in my house albeit not the primary listening room and I will most likely never part with it.
