4 out of 5 "Sansui A60 recapped"
An electronics engineer friend recently sold / serviced / recapped his old amp to me .
I own a number of Denon , Cambridge Audio receivers with various speakers . Tannoy , Klipsch and Q Accoustics , Velodyne and Yamaha .
I like all of them . In the past , 1970-2016 I also owned Marantz and NAD . Unfortunately I sold them .
I listen to music and do not care about the other nonsense .
The little Sansui A60 sounds more analog and the power is unreal . 0830 position is LOUD in a room 6x4 m with one open side .
The Denons and Cambrifge Audios sounds brighter and crisp but it makes me wonder if that is natural . Recordings makes a huge difference.
My friend is now building a set of speakers for me , open and velvet smooth highs .
Music is like good wine , we all have our own tastes . Do not listen to the nonsense out there . For years , every new model sounded better .
Now Vintage is wonderful again .
Very glad I spent the $150 total cost .
