Not sure what the difference between the 70 and 70L is, but- I have the regular 70.. here's what I think of the RMX-70 : I love this receiver! I got mine for 27.00 on fee-pay site as non-working and when I opened it up found that the two out-put fuses were blown..SCORE! Only has tape and phono inputs on back but..hey..it's not Rotels top o the line I imagine...But- It gets incredible AM band reception for what it is. Here in Florida where I live I can't usually get 540 and 580 AM outta Orlando unless ya have a shortwave radio or a "Super radio" specializing in AM dx-ing...this one get the both stations ..Not 100% clearly but- blows away all of my other home stereo receivers- vintage and modern, And I have quite a few of them... I'd buy 5 more at that price again hahaha...Oh..and I don't know the watts (was searching- that's how I found this review site) but it pushes any set of speakers I hook into. May up-date if I find the out-put watts...
