"Enjoyable deck."

I've had the HK2000, NAD 6100 and 6340, Nakamichi BX125, and Pioneer CTW205R. All have enjoyable sound, and I wouldn't want to let any of them go. The Nak is slightly more sweet and elegant, but the NAD decks really dig deep and reveal the recording well and vibrantly. The Nak mechanism is more finicky and repair-prone, while the NAD just powers ahead.
