4 out of 5 "Mission 700"
These mid sized Missions are a two way base reflex design with a front port. They are a little large to be truly 'bookshelf', but
they are designed to be positioned either vertically or horizontally, which can help with
placement. I have a pair of these running on a Musical Fidelity B200 amp and Cambridge Audi CD
player in my studio. The room is around 16ft square. This vintage set up sounds sweet smooth and detailed
with a well defined base. If you come across a good pair of original 700's, grab them. My examples are
finished in real rosewood veneer. It s unlikely they will have their original grills as they were made of an
open foam material which degrades in UV. They can be played moderately loud without becoming harsh or tiring.
A great vintage sound.

I also have a Musical Fidelity A1001 / Naim CD3 / Kelly Transducers set up, and A Marantz / Audiolab / Arcam
set up for comparison!!
