Excellent Sound, excelent build quality, very pleasing looks! What more is there to say except to wonder why Teac has discontinued this product. My frame of reference is comparison with hi-fi systems that I have had comprising Sansui amplifiers (now that was one great amplifier maker), Sony systems (not very nostalgic about them), and then from Denon. This one from Teac, given its small size and price, holds up very well and is as close to hi-fi sound as it can get in this class. In my view, its sound clarity and tonal balance puts it in the range of amplfiers and CD players costing 50% more. I play it through KEF Q100 speakers.
