5 out of 5 "Magnificent Celestion-9"
I paired my Celestion-9 with Dynaco tube amplifier and the result was beyond belief. With tube amps, the bass went down to 40hz and both midrange & high ends were crystal clear. My friends couldn't believe what they heard from Celestion-9. The sad thing was, my Dynaco broke down & I couldn't get my Celestion-9 to reproduce the same quality sounds with regular amplifiers, especially the low deep bass.

4 out of 5 "celestion 9"
I own these and found them very soft and musical sounding. They are not harsh, the imaging is very good and soundstage is open and silky. They have a very beautiful overall sound which benefits from using better electronics with higher power. I used em with QUAD 303 amp and a Marantz 2230. Both of them sounded beautiful with these. The speaker can handle lows down to some mid 40s and in a bedroom or a medium sized room like mine 16 x 15 feet, they sound awesome. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for musicality and pleasure of sound.
