4 out of 5 "Cambridge Audio CXA60"
Picked this up on ebay for £350 in mint condition with original packaging. The amp is bright as you would expect but not brash and running through Monitor Audio Bronze speakers has plenty enough bass for most types of music, the 2 channel system also being used for watching films. Looks great with the floating chassis design and very well built with a sleek high end appearance. Remote is perfectly usable and the amp makes an audible click when changing functions which or may not irritate some. All in all highly recommended. There is a more powerful model, CXA80, which is actually a completely different design and seems not so recommended. Both models have now been updated to CXA61 and CXA81 but I would definitely look to the secondhand older model for value.
