Bought mine in 1984, they have always had a mellow sound that I liked from day one as I listen to a lot of classical music. Have a tendency to be a bit boomy on a wooden floor without any sort of isolation, a foam tile did the trick. They were punchy enough to entertain at loud parties and nothing has ever blown on them, they are like tanks. They have seen off 5-6 amps over the years and I still use them on a weekly basis in my home gym. Wonderful bits of kit, God bless whoever put them together they have literally given a lifetime of service and pleasure.
