A fantastic cassette deck back in the days when cassettes were well used. I got rid of my cassettes some years ago and so sold the cassette deck too. However when I had it I used it daily for both playing and recording cassettes.
For some reason I recall TDK AR cassettes as being able to withstand the highest recording level without distortion. They were well used for transferring vinyl and CD to cassette for use in my Walkman of the era.
MP3 seems to rule the roost for me now and resides happily on my smartphone for music on the move.
