5 out of 5 "Nice amplifier"
I bought this amplifier some years ago when I was starting in the audio world. At first it needed some reparation on the safety relay because it has a cold point there but except that it works perfect and as usually of Technics a nice design

5 out of 5 "Excelent mid 80's amplifier"
I've this amplifier for more than 30 years, and still today offers a great sound with a superb bass. Ultra reliable, with a powerfull sound it can be a bit tought with your loudspeakers if you push the volume up. 30 years of everyday home service, listening from heavy metal to classical music, and amplifiing the sound card of my desktop, has never, but never let me down! I will never sell my SU-700, because even today it's very hard to find an amplifier with this manufactoring quality, and realiabilty.
